TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DRIVERS
Welcome to Force Global Limited “the Company”. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration and participation as a driver on our platform. By registering, you agree to comply with these Terms and acknowledge your responsibilities as a self-employed driver providing services throughout the platform.
These Terms are designed to ensure compliance with United Kingdom (“UK”) Laws, including:
- The Road Traffic Act 1988 (driving licences, vehicle safety, insurance)
- Companies Act 2006 and Employment Rights Act 1996 principles regarding self-employment
- Data Protection Act 2018 & UK GDPR regarding your personal data and driver information
- Income Tax (Self-Assessment) regulations for self-employed individuals
These Terms are intended protect both drivers and the Company, ensure safe and lawful operations, and provide clarity on rights and responsibilities.
1. Driver Eligibility and Documentation
1.1 To Register as a driver with the Company, you must provide all relevant documentation/s prior to account approval. This includes, but is not limited to:
- -Valid UK driving licence
- -Proof of insurance coverage for the vehicle/s used
- -MOT Certificate
- -Road tax documentation
- -Disclosure of any driving restrictions, endorsements, or convictions
- -Bank account detailsfor payment
- -Valid passport and/or official identification documents
- -Proof of right to work in the UK (e.g. UK passport, visa, and/or work permit documentation)
- - National Insurance number
1.2 The Company reserves the right to verify and validate all documents before approving your account. Failure to provide accurate and valid documentation may result in denial of registration and/or suspension.
2. Job Categories
2.1 Upon registration, you will select the types of jobs you wish to accept, such as:
- -Housing moving
- -Office removals
- -Parcel deliveries
- - Other transportation services
2.2 You may modify your selected job categories at any time by logging into your driver account after approval.
3. Payments
3.1 The Company will confirm customer bookings immediately through the platform.
3.2 Earnings will be calculated in real-time; however,payment will be disbursed to your nominated bank account at the end of each week (Friday, close of business).
3.3 You are responsible for ensuring that your bank details are accurate. The Company is not liable for delays caused by incorrect account information.
4. Driver Status and Self-Employment
4.1 Drivers are considered independent partners of the Company and are self-employed.
4.2 As self-employed individuals in the UK, you are responsible for:
- -Reporting income and paying Income Tax and National Insurance contributions via self-assessment
- -Maintaining accurate records of earnings
- -Complying with all applicable laws for self-employed individuals
4.3 You acknowledge and agree that the Company is not responsible for withholding taxes, pension contributions, or any other statutory deductions.
5. Vehicle Hire Assistance
5.1 If you require a temporary vehicle hire to complete jobs, the Company may provide guidance and advice.
5.2 Any vehicle hire is your responsibility, and the Company is not liable for costs, damages, or disputes arising from rental arrangements.
6. Driver Conduct
6.1 You agree to:
- -Maintain professional and courteous conduct with customers
- -Comply with all traffic laws under the Road Traffic Act 1988
- - Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, taxed, MOT’d, and insured
6.2 The Company reserves the right to suspend and terminate your account for misconduct, violation of these Terms, or failure to maintain documentation.
7. Liability
7.1 The Company acts as a platform connecting drivers with customers.
7.2 You acknowledge that the Company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or claims arising from your provision of services, including:
- -Vehicle damage
- - Personal injury
- - Loss or damage to property
7.3 You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless against any claims arising from your actions or omissions.
8. Changes to Terms
8.1 The Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.
8.2 Drivers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
By registering as a driver on the Force Global Limited (“the Company”) platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
